It’s hands-on support for an HR or People & Culture team that lacks current capacity to move all of the needed initiatives forward. That could mean partnering to build a people-analytics dashboard, analyzing team member surveys and making recommendations, running a full HR project from start to finish, or advising on a specific project like a benefits redesign.
Consulting is organization-facing: it’s about strategy, systems, and getting a specific HR or people project completed. Coaching is person-facing: it’s about casting a vision, self-discovery, meaningful goal setting, accountability, and transforming your leadership. Clients may start with one and eventually use both.

Both. Organizations hire me for consulting, coaching their team members, and speaking. Individual leaders also hire me directly for coaching, whether or not their company is involved.

I have deep, specific experience in multifamily housing, student housing, senior living, and family office, built over 30-plus years including serving as a Chief People Officer. That said, the HR project management, leadership coaching, and speaking topics apply well beyond those industries.
Both the Foundation and Elevate coaching plans run six months, with vision casting up front, regular sessions throughout, and a reflect session at the end. However, coaching engagements can be customized for varying time frames.
